St. Francis de Sales and St. Emma

          I wish to take this opportunity to thank the Alumni and especially those of you who attended the 2006 reunion in Houston.  We certainly feel it was a great success and a weekend enjoyed by all.  It was a challenge, but the Houston Committee stood up and made it happen.  We were so delighted to have so many of you come to Texas and Houston.

          When we put this event together, our goal was to carefully plan and hold the line on expenditures so that we would be in a position to make a contribution to Xavier University, in New Orleans, to help with its recovery from the disastrous storm of 2005.

          I again want to thank you and let you know that after all the expenses for the reunion were paid we are able to make a donation to Xavier University.

           On October 27, 2006, I along with the Houston Committee, will meet with President Francis, Xavier University, and present him with a check in the amount of $5000.00, from the alumni of St. Francis and St. Emma.
