Dear St. Francis-St Emma Alumni:
The classes of 1958 and 1968 invite you to join them as they celebrate their 50th and 40thanniversaries in the beautiful, historical city of Charleston, South Carolina, July 17th – 20th.  Our headquarters hotel block of rooms at the Francis Marion has already been fully booked.  Additional rooms have been secured nearby at the Hampton Inn, 345 Meeting St. To reserve your room call 1-800-426-7866, give the operator our group code of “SFS” or go to www.hampton.com and enter the code in the “Group/Convention” box. Please reserve your room soon so we will have
time to secure more rooms if needed. Our group rate is available for those staying Sunday night.  If you must cancel your room at either hotel do not call the hotel directly. Rooms canceled directly with the hotel will be lost to our group and will not be available at our group rate. The Reunion Committee has put together an interesting weekend that will give attendees a “flavor” of the city of Charleston with a focus on the African-American history of Charleston. There are many places of interest in downtown Charleston (see insert) with some places within walking distance of the hotels.

The Registration fee is $225 per person. Friends or relatives traveling with the principal registrant may pay a reduced companion fee of $200 per person for full access to all activities. This fee will cover the registration/souvenir packet (full fee payers only), hospitality room, a dinner cruise of the Charleston area on Friday night, a tour on Saturday morning, the Dinner/Dance on Saturday night
the Sunday Brunch and Business meeting. There will be free time on Friday and Saturday to explore the numerous attractions of Charleston and the surrounding area.

See the attached registration forms for payment details. Please forward this form with a $35.00 nonrefundable down payment no later than March 29, 2008. Registration after June 2nd will be $250.00 payable by money order

or cashiers check only.

Dress for the Dinner Cruise on Friday is Black and White (leave hotel at 6:00 PM).
Class of ’68 are encouraged to accessorize with Ruby colors to denote there 40th anniversary Class of ’58 are encouraged to accessorize with Gold to denote there 50th anniversary The Dinner Dance on Saturday will be a celebration of the lowcountry’s Gullah heritage. If you have traditional dress or accessories please wear them otherwise the attire is after five.

down payment) To provide flexibility to family groups and encourage attendance by family members, the committee has developed a flexible pricing schedule for the 2008 Reunion. In order to take advantage of the pricing plan the following conditions must be met:

                2. There must be at least one full registration paid with each

                3. Other attendees may pay a full registration or a companion

                     registration or use
                    the individual event pricing.
        The companion rate entitles a person to attend all reunion events but does not include a
        registration bag. (The registration bag contains the reunion souvenir, a reunion program
        booklet and discount coupons)

        to attend a few events.
